STUDENTS AFFAIRS

This division of the Registry addresses issues of welfare of the students which include the following major areas:

STUDENTS ACADEMIC SERVICES

Guidance and Support Services
Counselling and Self Development Services

STUDENT AND CAMPUS LIFE

This area includes Health Services, Student Association, Student Representative Council, safety and Security, Sport facilities, Telephone, Postal Services, Students Publications (Campus Journalism), other services are hall accommodation and career services.

STUDENTS ASSOCIATIONS

As a policy, the Polytechnic does not approve student unionism. We encourage students of the Polytechnic to join associations that contribute to the academic and social life of the Polytechnic. Any student association which in its membership discriminates on account of race, sex or religion shall not be allowed. For the avoidance of doubt, the Polytechnic shall not permit tribal and other ethnic student organizations or any student society or club whose activities are inimical to the well being of students.
